The Slack Integration lets your team push conversation threads to Kontext as Feedback. Once pushed, the full thread is captured and sent through the analysis pipeline to detect Problems, Actors, and Contexts.

Setup

  1. Go to Organization Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect Slack
  3. Authorize the Kontext Slack app to your workspace
  4. Configure which Product incoming Feedback should be attached to

How to push a thread

There are three ways to send a Slack thread to Kontext:
  • Message shortcut — use Slack’s message shortcut menu to send a thread directly
  • Bot mention — mention the Kontext bot inside a thread to open a modal where you can optionally specify the Actor, Context, or add notes before sending
  • Emoji reaction — react to any message with the trigger emoji (configurable, default :kontext:) for a quick, no-prompt push
When a thread is pushed, Kontext captures the full conversation and runs it through the analysis pipeline. Once analysis completes, an ephemeral message is posted back in the thread with a link to the results.
