Setup

  1. Go to Organization Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect GitHub
  3. Install the Kontext GitHub App on your organization or selected repositories
  4. Choose which repositories to sync

What gets synced

  • Issues — each issue becomes a Feedback entry in Kontext
  • Labels, assignees, and metadata are preserved for reference
  • Releases are synced to generate a Release in Kontext
Issue comments are not synced at this stage. In some repositories, comments may not add to the original issue detail and would dilute the analysis. We’re working on a pre-filtering step to separate signal from noise before syncing comments. Let us know if comment syncing is important to your workflow.

Sync behavior

  • Initial sync — imports existing open issues from selected repositories
  • Ongoing sync — new issues and updates are synced via webhooks in real-time
  • Bi-directional — Problems detected in Kontext are linked back to GitHub issues
