Each message, ticket, call transcript, issue, or post ingested from one of your integrations (or via API) counts as one feedback item at the moment of ingest. Re-running analysis on existing items — for example after tuning your detection presets — does not count against your cap.
By default, analysis pauses on new incoming items and we notify you. Everything already analysed stays fully usable in the UI. You can then enable overage billing at $10 / 500 extra items, upgrade your plan, or wait for the next cycle. No auto-charges, no bill shock.
Overages are soft-capped at 2× the tier's included volume; beyond that we'll prompt you to upgrade.
Every plan requires connecting your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or DeepSeek) for feedback analysis. To keep onboarding painless, your first 100 feedback items each month are analysed on Kontext's AI for free — enough to see value before setting up your own key.
Beyond 100 items/month, connect your key in workspace settings and analysis runs on your credits. We don't mark up tokens — you pay Kontext for the product, and your AI bill tracks your real usage.
Not as a base — every plan includes a team. Once you pass the included seat count, additional members are $7/month each, which is roughly half what per-seat tools like Dovetail or Productboard charge. On Business and Enterprise, team members are unlimited.

Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges on your next invoice. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of your current billing cycle — the period you've paid for (monthly or annual) stays active until then, and annual commitments aren't refunded pro rata.
