# Slack

> Send Slack threads to Kontext as Feedback for analysis.

The Slack Integration lets your team push conversation threads to Kontext as [Feedback](/concepts/feedback). Once pushed, the full thread is captured and sent through the analysis pipeline to detect [Problems](/concepts/problems), [Actors](/concepts/contexts-and-actors#actors), and [Contexts](/concepts/contexts-and-actors#contexts).

## Setup

1. Go to **Organization Settings → Integrations**
2. Click **Connect Slack**
3. Authorize the Kontext Slack app to your workspace
4. Configure which Product incoming Feedback should be attached to

## How to push a thread

There are three ways to send a Slack thread to Kontext:

* **Message shortcut** — use Slack's message shortcut menu to send a thread directly
* **Bot mention** — mention the Kontext bot inside a thread to open a modal where you can optionally specify the [Actor](/concepts/contexts-and-actors#actors), [Context](/concepts/contexts-and-actors#contexts), or add notes before sending
* **Emoji reaction** — react to any message with the trigger emoji (configurable, default `:kontext:`) for a quick, no-prompt push

When a thread is pushed, Kontext captures the full conversation and runs it through the analysis pipeline. Once analysis completes, an ephemeral message is posted back in the thread with a link to the results.
